Summary

Jo Malone grew up surrounded by creative people. Her father was an artist and a magician, her mother worked in the beauty industry, and Jo was just 8 years old when a facialist asked her to create her very first face mask. Years later, Jo went on to set up her own clinic with just 12 clients which grew to over 500 before eventually going onto create her eponymous company and eventually selling it to Estee Lauder Companies in 1999. On this episode, Jo opens up about walking away from her namesake company in 2006, launching her new bath, body and candle collection Jo Loves, making mistakes, and she shares one of the best pieces of advice she got from Oprah.
