I don't really like those words, but what are the things that we can do?

You know, we Catholics don't believe in faith alone.

We believe in faith and works.

And God Almighty sent his son, Jesus Christ.

Hold up. I got a sorry about that. A little reverb. God sent his son Jesus Christ to redeem us, to save us.

And evangelicals and Protestants, they basically get that part right. The problem is

for them, they forget about the part of sanctification. What is sanctification? Sanctification

is the process, not the event. It's the process of transforming us into holy ones, or in Latin, sancti, saints.

And that is a process, and it can be discouraging, it can be confusing, it can be complicated, but it doesn't have to be.

And our Lord Jesus Christ revealed the fullness of the faith to his 12 apostles, he gave them the seven sacraments, and the church

has the treasury of devotion. The church has a treasure chest of, if you want to think about it,

rubies and emeralds and diamonds and gold and silver.

And those are all the sacramentals and all the devotions and all the beautiful things in the church.

And sometimes it's not really your fault.

You weren't taught those things.
