Now, really interesting situation with President-elect Donald Trump.

And obviously, everyone knows how he feels about immigration.

And one of the things he is upset about is birthright citizenship.

We are one of the few countries in the world where if you are born in the United States,

you're a citizen, notwithstanding anything else, and there was a time, there still is, where mothers would go ahead and cross the border

illegally. And even if it's five feet inside the border, the child is born, that's a U.S. citizen.

There's no way around it. Because that's the 14th Amendment of the Constitution, which reads,

quote, all persons born or naturalized in the United States, I happen to be a naturalized

citizens, are citizens of the United States. It's that simple. Fourteenth Amendment, done.

He wants to end birthright citizenship.

And a lot of countries simply say that if a child is born in their country and is not born

of a citizen or a legal immigrant, there's no citizenship there.

Just doesn't happen. And some go the other way the way the U.S. goes. He wants to end that.

And a lot of people have that same argument because we have a situation where we have,

by the millions people come over who are illegal. They come over illegally.

Children are born.

Those children automatically become citizens of the United States.

And the argument is that's not fair.

And Trump certainly believes that.

So he wants to say, we're going to get this changed.
