Summary

Ann Curry has spent more than 30 years as a journalist traveling the globe, reporting from the scene of many of history’s most monumental natural disasters and war zones. She has covered a range of issues from nuclear tensions in North Korea and Iran, to the destructive earthquake in Haiti in 2010, and spent countless hours in Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq. She spent 15 years with NBC’s “Today” show, and has received seven national news Emmy’s for her reporting. On this episode, Ann discusses how being the squeaky wheel early in her career created opportunities, the stories she was able to tell and how she overcame the “second mountain” in her life after leaving NBC. Plus, hear more about her latest project, “Chasing the Cure.” Congratulations to our No Limits Entrepreneurs of the Week: Taylor Majewski and Shannon O’Hara Find out more: https://gigitherobot.com/ Want to be a featured NLEOTW?
