In February, we took the opportunity to get out on a hike. We had a Saturday open.

The weather was forecasted to be a little bit less horrible than it had been the rest of the winter.

Horrible, that's a harsh word.

Yeah, we saw snow on this hike.

At an elevation of what?

Like 20 feet.

20 feet.

It's so close to the ocean. Maybe a couple hundred feet above the ocean and there was snow

left over from the night before. So we made it. We went to a place called God's Thumb, which is northwest of Lincoln City, Oregon.
