Summary

In July 2016, 42-year-old spouses Dawn Whitely Armstrong and Antonio Armstrong Sr. were shot and killed in their suburban Houston, Texas townhome, with their middle son, 16-year-old Antonio Armstrong Jr., the only suspect. Following a mistrial, the defense fought to introduce an alternative perpetrator theory at retrial, which is scheduled to begin on October 3, 2022.

This week on murderous minors, we look in on the ongoing case of Antonio and Don Armstrong's murders in the Houston suburb of Bel Air, Texas.

On July 29th, 2016, Armstrong Jr. called 911 at 140 AM.

And during the 16-minute call, he told the dispatcher that he had heard gunshots come from his parents' bedroom and that their door was now uncharacteristically left a jar.

He was unable to describe what kind of gunshots he heard and said that while he was hiding in his third floor bedroom closet, his 12-year-old sister was asleep on the floor below.
