What a treat to have you back, Mark Turner, founder of the Overwatch Foundation,

high-level Jiu-Jitsu Blackbelt and just all-around great guys.

So it's always such a pressure when we connect Mark and I've be looking forward this for a long time.

No, thanks for having me back on. I mean your show's obviously doing fantastic, right?

And the book and everything, I mean we've kind of sort of talked since the book and all that, but

congrats on all that and so yes it's good to be back

thanks for having me. Oh thank you brother. Well Mark what's been so cool for me from afar is watching

how you found this incredible sense of mission and purpose with the

Overwatch Foundation. So I love to kind of start a little bit. I know we talked last

time but a little bit with that for people that aren't familiar with you about all

the amazing work you're doing and just how it all came about because it's such a great story.

Yeah, I still actually can't believe it. It's, you know, we, we, around the time of the Afghan pull out when our country pulled out of

Afghanistan had been kind of disconnected from veterans and from the military

and from that kind of stuff for a while.

And I just kind of when I saw that happen and I just wanted to get involved and wanted to do something.

So, sent a couple of texts out and stuff and got some responses about hey let's do something here and

help with the Afghanistan situation so the wheels started turning with that. It wasn't anything, it wasn't

like let's sit down and create a

nonprofit and and build something it wasn't that it was just let's just get

involved and then very close to that if you remember I think that was 2021 at that point at this point now 2021 and

Hurricane Ida happened right around the same time as the Afghan pull out so if you guys jumped in a truck and we just hopped on social media and was like,
