If you look up the definition of learning, learning is the acquisition of knowledge or

skills through experience, study, or by being taught.

And I like to think of unlearning defined as the surrender of unskilledful knowledge or

unskilledful habits through experience, study, or being taught.

So in this sense, why would it be beneficial to surrender knowledge?
