I had been depressed since my wife left me.

At the time she was working long hours at the law firm where she had ambitions to be a partner.

I worked from home writing content for a digital marketing agency.

I had thought that everything was fine.

And then she told me out of the blue that she had met someone new, someone with

drive and ambition. I had those things I told her I just needed a break. But her mind was made up

and by the end of that horrible day she had moved out of our apartment and taken her things

with her. I was devastated. She had been the one and the love of my

life. For the first few dreadful weeks after that, I kept expecting her to message me and tell me that

it had all been a mistake. But my phone was silent as I said staring at the television with the curtains drawn.

I lived off junk food, stopped a showering, and wrote email blast without really seeing the

words that I was typing.

A week's drifted into months.

I never went out anymore.

I ordered everything that I needed online.
