10 reasons to attend the Latin Mass. I'm here with Eric Sammons, the author of the old

evangelization and we were talking about the Latin Mass. We both attend the Latin Mass and

we said why don't we come up up 10 reasons why people should attend the Latin

mass and so he came up with 10 and I came up with 10 and then we compared our

list we were actually surprised that we really don't overlap that much so So I'm going to have Eric go first,

and he's going to share his 10 reasons

for attending the Latin Mass.

And I'll jump in there too, and then vice versa.

I'll share my 10 reasons, and you can jump in that we just discuss particulars of the Latin

Mass, maybe even give some advice towards the end for someone who's going to attend the

Latin Mass for the first time what to expect and how to prep.

Yeah, that sounds great.

And I think it's great that we came up with a completely divergent list because it shows that

people who go to Latin mass were not all just the same people with the exact same reason for going.

Right. And that's kind of the stereotype is that we're all a bunch of, I don't know, nostalgic old bogeys or something.

And that's really not the case that if you go to a typical Latin mass parish you'll find lots of different types of people a diverse

congregation and so I you know I think that kind of blows the stereotype right away that the two of us have completely different list.

Yeah, I mean we're pretty similar guys and the fact that we came up with with different lists I think speaks to the glory of the Latin

Mass. I also like that you said that because a lot of people wrongly believe that attending the Latin Mass is a form of protest, right?

It's saying we don't like the Novus Ordomisay. We don't like it. So we're doing this in protest.

Right. Instead of choosing to go to Latin mass, you're choosing not to go to the ordinary the ordinary form of saying I don't like this
