0:00.0	Welcome to the 1000 Hours Outside Podcast. This is our 100th episode. I am so glad that you're here and my
0:09.1	name is Jenny Urich. I'm the founder of 1000 Hours Outside and it was tricky to figure out what to do for the 100th episode.
0:16.2	It feels monumental. I'm not a huge milestone person, although I do like when we celebrate our time outside, but I'm not big on celebrating other numbers like amounts of followers and that type of thing but the podcast is different because it represents a lot of in-depth conversation it represents a lot of in-depth conversation. It represents a lot of things that I have learned
0:36.2	personally throughout the last 15 or so months in talking with some brilliant and passionate
0:41.2	people who have come to the world with a unique perspective
0:44.7	and have taken time to research and learn about particular topics that really are life changing
0:51.5	and life enhancing.
0:52.9	And so what I thought is that I would go through the top 10 episodes that we've had on the podcast
0:59.3	and highlight the books that the guests have written and use that as a platform for a book club in
1:07.4	2023.
1:08.4	I've had a lot of people ask about doing a book club and have these books that we can read together.
1:14.0	And so I'll be putting out a schedule and finding ways to facilitate that amongst different
1:18.2	platforms, whether that's through email, and I could just send you a list of questions that you could talk about with your friends or family,
1:24.3	whether it's through a Zoom meeting where we pop on once a month for an hour and just talk through some of the things that we're learning about,
1:32.0	or through social media
1:33.2	where sort of in a similar fashion I could post some questions and you could use those
1:37.0	it's great to have conversation topics things to talk about things to think about so that's
1:41.5	a plan I'm gonna go through the top 10 episodes so that's 10
1:44.8	books but then I also have a book that came out this past May that will include for the
1:50.1	12 months of book club and then I have another book that is launching in November of
1:55.6	2023. So we can end 2023 in December with that as the Book Club Book and it will be a year filled with new things to learn and new things to think about and talk about.
