The show we're two dudes who are not quite nerds but not quite nobs.

Choose a horror movie each week to rate and review.

I'm Brian. I'm on the phone with Ashvin.

And today for this episode, we're doing something a little bit different.

We are just going to give a few brief, spoiler-free reviews on movies that came available

to stream and or rent this year. So new releases that basically came straight to streaming

or straight to VOD. We'll probably mention one or two that had a theatrical release that was very limited,

you know, something most people probably didn't see in the theater.

The goal is basically to just catch up on some of the 2024 films that have been released

this year that kind of maybe have fallen under the radar or that we haven't reviewed yet.

And we do it this time of year, like end of August, because once September comes, people

seem to be all in on Halloween season, and film distributors know that, and there's always

just a glut of releases that are going to drop between now and November.

So the goal here is to not let the

films that we're about to discuss get lost in the shuffle, as they may not be top of mind

when it comes to end of year top ten type discussions. And also maybe you can put some of these

on your spooky season watch list if you're so inclined. I'll compile all the movies that we mentioned on this episode on a letterboxed list.
