One of the things that the Iran-Contra scandal was, it set up what was called the Office of Public Diplomacy in 1983.

And it was basically, Ryan of the State Department, but it was staffed by psych-op operatives drawn from the Department of Defense and drawn by the CIA

that worked in tandem with Republican controlled public relations firms.

The whole point was to shift the narrative, to retrain and re-educate reporters who had become

too critical and the office of public diplomacy laid out a campaign that is an unbelievably ambitious.

I mean, they use polling firms to figure out how to frame the debate.

This is when the word terrorism was, was,

begun to be substituted for communism because it was more emotional and the

office of public diplomacy wrote articles and planted them in the press so jump

forward two decades later and you have people like Cindy Embers and Jonathan Chard who are the products of that re-education. I've got this is an outright.
