Email from a listener, guy was talking about marriage, he was asking me some questions, and one of the things that came up in my response I just thought I share it here I'm really big on

this I've talked about it before but I try to be more polite in my home than outside

it helps me realize what a blessing it is that these people are in my life.

You can do this at work, at home.

We tend to be more polite with other people outside.

And then we think everyone at home understands this how I am. We can be rude here.

Invert that.

I'm not saying you have to be rude outside the home,

but you're polite at a job interview, right? Somebody you think is important. You suddenly get really polite. That's just it. Take that inside. And now you're acknowledging to yourself that this person is really important. Excuse me. I'm sorry. Or just that politeness that would come from, you're reinforcing with yourself just what a

beautiful blessing it is that I even get to be with these people.
