Hussein. She is a board certified otolaryngologist with specialization

in laryngology. She completed her otolaryngology and Neck Surgery Residency from Northwestern MacA Medical Center

and completed her Fellowship from Massachusetts Eye and Eure Infirmary A Harvard Teaching Hospital.

She is now Section Head of Laryngology at Rush University Medical Center and director of the Voice Airways Following Disorders program.

She also holds a joint appointment in the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences.

Her research interests include idiopathics, subglotics stenosis, and laryngeal reflux.

She is active on social media as an educator of all things voice, airway, and swallow,

as well as an advocate for women in surgery. And if you all
