He is the author of one of my favorite books of all time.

I should read it again this month.

It is called Influence.

It is a masterclass on persuasion.

I read it very early on in my internet influencer life a long, long time ago. And it really made a big

impact on me, especially the chapter on reciprocity, what you're going to talk about today.

I remember people would say, why are you giving away so much information online? Like, why don't

you put that behind a paywall? Or why are you going to these conferences that we paid all this money for

and then you're going back home and you're sharing what you learn for free. Like I don't get it.

The reason I did that is because number one, I've always just been a generous person who's always

about service, but also because of the book that I read called Influence and the chapter that

I read on reciprocity. Because when you go out there and you give and you consider the needs and the wants of other people

and you provide them to them, it has a way of coming back to you.

And so this clip is going to be very helpful for you, especially if you're in the service industry,

if you're a server, if you're a bartender, if you're in the restaurant industry,
