It got to the point where it wasn't just the emails, but it was him saying things about me that nobody would know unless they knew me personally or him saying things like, oh, you know, I saw you at my favorite

Can you tell us what inspired you to become a mental health professional?

I think growing up you know I was never one of those people that you know was like oh I want to be a teacher, I want to be a counselor,

or I want to be a lawyer, you know, I never quite knew what my career path was going to be.

But I always knew I liked working with people and I really liked children a lot. I thought I was going to be working with kids.

And so I did my undergraduate studies in child and family studies and from there I kind of came out of college and I was like well what do I do next with this and that was kind of the next path I looked into counseling and as cliche as it sounds said, I always wanted to help people.

I just was never quite sure what the avenue was.

And I just loved talking to people, learning about people,

and meeting people, so that kind of seemed like the next step.
