You're listening to the Beautiful Mess Podcast. My husband recently became

obsessed with the Criterion channel and while the movies on there are

absolutely iconic I felt you were missing a few

maybe of my personal favorite movies so this episode is such a fun one for us we're going to go through and make our own a beautiful mess, criterion

collection. Movies bring us so much joy and we are excited to be able to highlight our

favorites here for you. This also gives us a chance to talk about some of the movies

that don't really fit into our comfort rewatch series for one reason or another, but we still like really want to talk about them.

I have been looking forward to this

episode for more than six months. You've been talking about it. Finally here. I feel like it was

maybe even Jeremy's idea. He was like you should do in a beautiful mess

criterion collection. We were like, I was like what is that? should do in a beautiful mess criterion.

We were like, I was like, what is that?

Because I'm not cool.

But then I was like, oh, that's fun.

So it's kind of like iconic movies.

Yeah. Well-made iconic movies that you love. Yeah, if you follow the

criterion collection on Instagram they have like this little like closet size room that has all the like DVDs I think and people just

like go in there and pick their favorites like celebrities and stuff and it's so

fun to watch and I really really want to do it even though I'm not going to be invited and my

imitation is not in the mail but I just love movies I think that a lot of us do it's

like they like make up a part of who we are you know they're like they form us in some way so yeah this was really fun to work on we are going to highlight

10 of our favorite movies and then we're going to do 10 each so 20 movies so 20 movies so hopefully you'll hear a few movies that you're convinced to give a chance to and then maybe you can like make your own list and you can disagree with us like whatever whatever
