There's been some fascinating news these last few days with the announcement that Russian troops have yet another commander.

Out goes General Sergei Sorovicin, aka General Armageddon,

and in comes General Valerie Gerasimov, who is leaving his desk as chief of the general

staff to take charge of the battle. We'll be digging into this intriguing development and asking

what it all means. And there's some shocking news on the domestic front in Ukraine.

After a two-week lull, Russia's resumed its bombardment of civilian infrastructure,

resulting in horrific casualties in the city of Denepro,

where a missile destroyed an apartment block killing 44 men, women and children.

We've also just heard of the tragic death of the Ukrainian Interior Minister,

Dennis Monastersky, near a kindergarten in East Kiev.

It seems that 16 people are dead, including children.

It's not clear right now what caused the crash.
