Okay, Brad, I have been talking a lot about the difference between putting your PC on the desk versus putting it on the floor lately.

Well, it was a topic of discussion last week.

It's inspired further discussion on the Discord, let's say.

We talked about it on the full nerd at length because Gordon, my friend Gordon Mung over there, is convinced this is a generational thing.

He thinks that the children want to keep the PC visible.

Uh-huh.

Whereas the old's, like it hidden away, like some sort of secret shame.

I mean, I didn't want to come out and say it, but he might be on to something.

I think it's because of streamers personally.

Well, yeah, but I think those are those issues dovetail together, right?

I mean, I get, I blame streamers for a lot of things.

Yeah.

I mean, you know what I mean?

Like, it's, it's because of streamers and the young, the youths like streamers a lot more than the old. Well, and also, like, if you take the time to put sick RGB and a rad, like, hard cooling loop in your PC, you want to show it off. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, okay, just to be clear about what I said last week, I was being flippant, as I often am, about the issue. You should put your computer wherever you feel comfortable putting it or wherever makes you happy. But I mean, in my case, it was just

a practical consideration of I just need the desk space. Like I just can't afford to have that

much of a footprint carved out of this desk. No. You run a tight ship over there. Yes,

it's true. I do. But a lot of people chimed in on the Discord saying that keeping up on the desk

keeps dust and other detritus out of.

So it turns out that was the one big piece of feedback we got on the full nerd also was that,

hey, I put it on my desk because it's cleaner.

And that made me, because I don't, I actually don't have enough space on my desk either

with all the microphones and lightstands and all that crap.
