So what's happening today?

Well, Alpine will unveil the A390.

That's going to be their big Porsche McCann fighter or the Tesla Model Y performance edition fighter.

600 horsepower, trimotor, torque vectoring, all the goodies. We'll find out more in May. Ford CEO

says that their new EV platform is highly effective. It's the so-called Skunk Works team that have been

squirrelled away

to build a new EV platform. They say that they're doing it in terms of R&D costs at 30 cents on

the dollar of what Ford would normally spend on research. The GLEEX-5 is Australia's cheapest

mid-size electric SUV. It's smaller than a Tesla Model Y, but it's cheaper than a Depal S7, a

leap motor C-10. And if you want a comparison to, you know, Kia EV-5s or Tesla Model Y's,

a lot cheaper. It's about the same size as a Hyundai Tucson and Toyota Rav 4. It doesn't charge

that quick at 100 kilowatts, but it's got a 60 kilowatt-hour lithium ion phosphate pack.

Big screens, no Apple CarPlayer or Android Auto, but it is very, very cheap.

Costing, well, I mean the base model, like $43,000 Aussie dollars.

That's like 29,000 US equivalent.

Now, D.HL and Scania are launching their new electric trucks. They're going to put a

range extender inside them. They'll take out one of the battery packs, so it's still 90% electric,

they say, but on the occasions when they will go maybe off the highway charging network,

they have that backup because combustion fuel is everywhere if they need it. But the CEO
