All right, Professor Ronald Mallett.

Thank you for coming, man.

0:10.0

Thank you.

0:11.0

It's a pleasure to have you on the show.

0:12.0

Thank you.

0:13.0

It's a pleasure to be on the show.

0:14.0

So tell me about your time machine.

0:16.0

Well, I think what we should do is to start back about the real possibility of time travel,

0:22.0

because I think it's important for people to realize that it's not something that just I came up with.

0:26.9

It's actually something that's based on solid physics.

0:29.9

And in fact, time travel to the future is not only solid physics.

0:34.3

It's something that we've been able to do.

0:36.4

People don't realize that time travel of the future has happened, and we've demonstrated it's something that we've been able to do. People don't realize that time travel

0:38.0

of the future has happened, and we've demonstrated it's time travel to the past that we haven't

0:43.4

done experimentally, although theoretically we can talk about it. And all of this notion of the

0:49.4

serious possibilities of time travel are based on Einstein's theories of relativity.

0:55.2

So I should start off with that and what we know about that and then go into what my contribution has been.

1:02.9

Einstein back in 2005 came up with a theory about how light behaves with speed.

1:10.2

What year was it?

1:11.1

2005, okay. I'm sorry. Okay. about how light behaves with speed. What year was it? 2005.

1:13.4

I'm sorry.

1:15.3

Back up.
