and I jumped on it immediately. Want to let us know what we're talking about today? We're going to

talk about reading and specifically the fact that for a lot of people, including some of us who are lifelong,

passionate readers, reading and staying focused on long-form reading has become more difficult.

I think that's just the reality of the moment we're in in time.

And so we wanted to talk about that and some strategies for getting past that difficulty. Yeah, and especially today

when we're raising kids in this short attention span culture, you know, there are books out right now

discussing how our attention is being eroded, how it's difficult for us to get beyond the sound

bite or the short form texting and captioning of Instagram posts or TikToks.

And so I think, you know, you and I have a long-term memory of going to the library, getting a book and getting lost in it.
