Danny comes from a background of brewing beer that led him to working with some high profile names, that ultimately took him to whiskey. Danny brought some samples to try where the lowest proof was 125 and then they creep up to 160 proof! 0:43.0	Four Rose is opening its newest storage facility, Warehouse Y, and Cox's Creek, Kentucky,
0:46.8	and it's going to hold an additional 24,000 new barrels of bourbon.
0:51.9	Warehouse Y is the second of several new warehouses to be built as a part of a major expansion project that began in 2015 where they're investing $21 million
0:55.4	into the Four Roses location at Cox's Creek. Now, in addition to Warehouse Y,
1:00.5	updates also included the new bottling facility that was completed in 2017 and Warehouse X that
1:05.4	was completed in 2018. Now moving on to Bourbon Release News. Coming from Barton 1792, which unfortunately is not
1:13.5	going to be in today's podcast, but maybe one day we'll get to it and maybe talk about it with
1:17.5	Danny in another time, but they are now releasing their first ultra-premium brand featuring
1:22.3	bourbon finish in a variety of casks, and it's called Thomas S. Moore. Now, Thomas S. Moore is not a new brand, but
1:29.0	it's being revived. In 1889, Thomas S. Moore was the man that built the distillery, now known as
1:34.6	Barton 1792, and business boomed until the 18th Amendment forced the distillery to close
1:39.6	because of Prohibition in 1920. Now, Barton is introducing this new category of what they call extended cask finished bourbon whiskeys,
1:48.0	where it rests for one to three years in this new collection.
1:51.0	And the first three expressions to be released are finished in pork casks, another in Chardonnay and the final in Cabernet Sauvian.
