just to have that permission from Jesus to say you're not lacking faith or lacking peace because you're grieving.

That you can hold on to both at the same time and ultimately lift them both up and that he's so tender he's so compassionate he tells

us not to be troubled or afraid but he himself was troubled so he knows exactly

what it feels like and he wants us just to hold on to that truth. That he is the reason we don't have to stay in it. That trouble doesn't get the final word in whatever circumstance we're going through is that he is the resurrection in the life and that we can take heart because he has overcome the world.

And so we feel our feelings but at the same time lean into hope. Life, it seems to move so fast.

Days are just full of noise and screens and appointments.

The chaos, it can leave us looking for a place to be still, but

that place always seems to be just out of reach. But Jesus offers a different kind of life. He offers peace because he is

peace. So today's guest, author and Bible teacher Melissa Spolstra is going to encourage you to slow down and
