This is the Baimal podcast with Marty Solomon. I'm his co-host, Brent Billings. Today, we continue our series of reflection, considering our approaches to sin,

and how we occupy different places. We continue our journey through session 7. This is the fifth of seven reflections that are going to start the session off,

and we've been journeying through those in very consistent rhythms and practice. So, if you'd like to review what this session is about, or how we got here or why this session is so different than usual,

you can review the introduction to session 7, and go back and listen to that. Today's discussion is going to be based off of episode 329, which was the Mishkan series where Josh Bosse helped us close up session 6.

Looking at a study of the tabernacle and connecting that to the days of creation, and leading us in just some reflections of what creation and the tabernacle teach us about who we are and what gods call us to do in the world.

So, in episode 329, Josh spoke to us about the fifth day of creation, and the theme of dwelling and of place.

He connected this to the next items of the tabernacle in the Mishkan, the sacrifices, the placement of blood, to mead, which meant this continual, this rhythmic continuation, as well as the idea of dwelling.

We're going to use that episode and that conversation of Josh as a guide for our reflection today.

And God said, let the water team with living creatures,

and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.

So God created the great creatures of the sea, and every living thing with which the water teams, and that moves about in it according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind.

And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.

And there was evening and there was morning the fifth day.

So God blessed them and the earth, and the water team with the water team with the water team, and the water team with the water team with the water team, and the water team with the water team with the water team.

This is what you are to do to consecrate them.

So they may serve me as priests.

Take a young bull and two rams without defect, and from the finest wheat flour make round loaves without yeast, thick loaves without yeast, and with olive oil mixed in, and thin loaves without yeast and brushed with olive oil.

Put them in a basket, and bring them along with the bull and the two rams, then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

Take the garments, and dress Aaron with the tunic, the robe of the effod, the effod itself, and the breastpiece, fasten the effod on him by its skillfully woven waste band.

Put the turban on his head, and attach the sacred emblem to the turban.

Take the anointing oil, and anoint him by pouring it on his head.

Bring his sons and dress them into an exand fasten caps on them.
