This is the Vamo podcast with Marty Solomon. I'm his co-host, Brent Billings. Today we're introduced to pilot and watch with the crowd as Jesus does everything except get John the Baptist out of jail.

Sure seems like it does just about everything and we find out that everything's not everything and God's always up to something and not always what we want.

Yeah, that's, yes indeed. I think I think we should just get it into it because we got a lot to talk about in this episode Marty.

Absolutely.

Okay, so it's kind of a spooky start to the episode. It's like everything's kind of green. There's fog on the ground. Everybody's asleep.

Then this big like white and yellow snake appears and approaches Jesus who is lying. What you call that lying prostrate?

Yeah, yeah, at least bent down on the ground. Yeah, definitely kneeling face down. Yeah, absolutely.

Then right as the snake approaches Jesus turns around and then somebody wakes up from a dream and we don't know who this person is yet.

I don't know if we ever really find out for sure I assume this is pilot's wife.

Yep.

But I don't think she's ever named or addressed as such directly. I don't know.

I thought she was. I thought he calls her. He talks about her being a wife or something like that.

The only thing I said is he called her like deer or something like that.

Yeah, definitely who she is. And I think there was a reference or two made, but I can't remember exactly.

Well, anyway, she wakes up and then she finds four men who are apparently zealots being crucified outside.

And then pilot appears and is the one who ordered the executions and she's just like,

so early in the morning, why are you doing this? And yeah, that's pilot, I guess.

Yeah, I appreciated meeting Sian who it was going to be. They referenced him, I think, in the last episode.

So you knew he was coming. Obviously, you knew he was coming eventually one way or another,

but I had a feeling it was going to be that next episode. So it's interesting to see how they

a young pilot, which I could very historically, there could, you know, I don't know my history around

pilot and historian timeline, but I thought he was younger than I expected. And I thought it was
