reviews with former colleagues. Today, we get to speak to once again retired agent Scott Payne,

who served in the FBI for nearly 23 years. In this episode, Scott reviews his undercover role in Operation Roadkill,

the Boston Division's investigation targeting members and associates of the local Taunton and

Brockton, Massachusetts chapters of the Outlaw Motorcycle Club.

In this undercover role, Scott Payne became Scott Callaway, a Harley-loving,

whiskey-drinking site survey specialist from Texas.

His two-year-long role in the case contributed to the arrest and conviction of numerous individuals

on federal drug trafficking and firearms charges. During Scott's career, he was assigned to the New York

field office, the San Antonio Field Office at the McGowan Resident Agency agency and the Knoxville field office.

As a case agent, Scott's investigations targeted drug trafficking and special interest alien

smuggling organizations, gangs, violent crime, criminal enterprises, public corruption,

and domestic terrorism. Throughout his FBI career,

Scott was the primary undercover agent on numerous long-term undercover operations.

These UCOs covered a variety of investigations to include violent motorcycle gangs,

public corruption, murder for hire, drug trafficking, and

domestic terrorism groups with international ties. Scott was also an FBI SWAT team operator,

as well as a firearms and defensive tactics instructor. Scott has also trained thousands of agents and law enforcement officers

at undercover certification schools. Since retiring from the FBI, Scott continues to travel and

teach at undercover and tactical schools. He's a keynote speaker and is also pursuing a career in the film and TV business.
