0:04.0	It's not just because somebody's old. Elder means you have suffered enormously direct contact
0:09.8	with the complexity of life and have metabolized that into a capacity to be in more relationship,

0:43.1	saved from suffering. That's not how it works. In fact, as Christians, we kind of recognize that if we're
0:48.6	told to follow me, we know we're following me leads. We cannot be saved from suffering. We're choosing
0:54.1	to enter into that reality.
0:55.8	That's the reality we're entering into.
0:57.5	But one of the aspects of suffering is that it's not a bug.
1:02.1	The problem of suffering is not the problem.
1:03.9	The problem maybe is meaningless suffering,
1:05.4	or suffering we don't actually put it to proper use.
