The Hello and welcome to mini episode number four hundred and six of real life ghost stories

and I have two spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from the 23rd of October 2024.

And story number one comes from Ashley.

We've lived in our house for around seven years now and a few things have happened that I simply can't explain. I live in York just outside of the city.

Our house is a post-war house probably built in in the 60s, and looking at historical maps,

nothing was built on this land prior to this house. I actually think that's why we keep having

little incidents. The first incident happened several years ago. I was just getting into crystals

and liked having some on my desk as I worked on my PhD to give me good vibes.

One day I noticed that my rose quartz crystal was gone.

I liked that one a lot because it was such a pretty shade of pink

and because it represented self-love and self-confidence to me,

something very much needed when you're working on a doctorate.

I asked everyone in the house if they had taken it, but everyone swore they hadn't.

I searched the room and then the house up and down, but couldn't find it.

Finally, I stood in that room and said aloud,

If you've taken my crystal, I'm not mad, but I would like it back now, please.

The next day, I walked into that room and there was my crystal, sitting on my desk right in front of my keyboard, very intentionally placed there.

There's no way I would have missed it in the days that I'd been searching for it. I said

thank you to the air and got on at my work, secretly wondering what the hell was going on. Little things

like that happen a lot. Something small goes missing, a normal everyday item, and magically returns

after a few days. I don't really
