The Hello and welcome to mini episode number 407 of real life ghost stories.

And I have two spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from the 23rd of October 2024.

And story number one comes from Jack.

I'll start by telling you that I do not believe in ghosts. I'm an atheist and I do not have a religious or spiritual bone in my body. I believe in

science and that there is a rational explanation for everything that happens even if science

hasn't discovered it yet.

That being said, I'm always interested in listening to people's supernatural stories and picking the

bones of them. And I also have some unexplainable experiences of my own, which I thought I would

share. In 1990, my mother moved from barking to a two-bed

house in Dagenham. I was only 18 months old. My mum and dad were separated, but got on well and were

both equally in my life. Neither were religious either, and they probably wouldn't like to say

categorically whether they believed in the

afterlife or not.

I have very vague memories of my young childhood.

I'm talking six, seven, eight years old, of seeing a figure at night either on my stairs

or at the bottom of the stairs.

Then, at around eight, a person who lived on my cul-de-sac was in my

house talking to my mum. I can't remember how the conversation got there, but the person said

that a man had died in our house shortly before we moved in. I do remember my distinct reaction

at eight years old of, what the fuck fuck i spoke to my mum after and although she

knew someone had died before we moved in she never knew the details i then learned that an older
