The Hello and welcome to mini episode number 422 of real life ghost stories.

And I have two spooky stories for you today.

And the last story comes from the 19th of November 2024.

And story number one comes from Amelia.

I would start with the house that my mum and I lived in from around 2000. I was nine until 2009, 2010 when I was 1819. This house was

in a smallish town around two and a half hours drive from Victoria, Australia's capital city, Melbourne.

It was Traralgon for anyone who may be listening and know the area.

The house was previously a public housing property, so it was owned and rented by the state government.

I would say it was built in the 50s or 60s at the most. When we rented there,

it was privately owned. It is in a rougher area of town. There was a lot of public housing in the area,

so there was a lower socioeconomic background. My mum's room was connected to the lounge,

and mine was the room directly across the hallway.

The house was also raised off the ground, so had very loud floorboards.

Sneaking around was impossible in this house.

Also, the door entering from the entryway into the lounge room was a sliding door, and had a a very distinct noisy sound. From the moment we moved

into the house, I remember always having that watched feeling. Walking down the hallways any time,

day or night, would always have me looking over my shoulder. My mum always just dismissed my feelings

to do with the feelings or experiences that I had,

but a lot of friends who stayed over for sleepovers felt the same.

They didn't enjoy being at my house.
