It's February 10th, 2023. And yes, Valentine's Day is just a few days away. And we've sort of

created a tradition here at Sorta Awesome over the past few years that for Valentine's Day,

we celebrate relationships of all kinds, especially friendships, not just the romantic ones.

So in keeping with that tradition, this year I was inspired for each and every single one of us

awesome to think about our relationship with ourselves, more specifically how well we are

loving ourselves right now. So a few weeks ago, I saw a TikTok. Yeah, yeah, I know.

Hang with me. I saw this TikTok where a woman said she's decided to start treating her own self

like the love of her life. Y'all, I have scoured TikTok to try to find this specific one,

and I cannot find it anywhere. Maybe our TikTok overlords will bring it back to me this week,

but I am so mad because I really wanted to share this idea, this concept with you in her voice

from the original TikTok. But anyway, I can't find it, but she gave the example that when she's

ordering dinner delivery for herself, she asks herself, now, what I order dessert for the love of my

life, I absolutely would. So yeah, I'm getting myself the dessert. I have thought about that TikTok

that idea, that concept for weeks. I think it's such a powerful way to really embody

this idea of loving ourselves well. So because the women that make up team sort of awesome are

some of my favorite women on the planet, and because I think each of them are so wise and so

insightful, I asked them all to share with me and to share with you awesomes. What they are doing

these days to treat themselves like they are the loves of their lives. And of course,

I'll be sprinkling in some of the ways I'm treating my own self like the love of my life these days
