For several years I commuted to and from work on a bike and that commute took me across the

Golden Gate Bridge twice a day. The bridge is open to cars and cyclists 24-7 but pedestrians

are only allowed during daylight hours. During dusk though, there's a bit of overlap where

there are some pedestrians still lagging on the bridge, but the gates only open to let them off,

or let people with bicycles on. I spent a lot of time on that bridge by myself at night, as during

the winter months it was always dark when I finished work. The Golden Gate Bridge is well known for its beautiful views and architecture,
