The Hello and welcome to be the episode number 437 of real-life ghost stories,

and I have three spooky stories for you today, and the last story comes from January

4th, 2025, and story number one comes from Haley.

This is a long story, but as a family we've experienced a number of weird things over the years,

and I wanted to share a bit of our spooky background.

I often wonder if seeing or experiencing paranormal activity is a gift or a curse that runs in families,

but doesn't affect everyone.

My auntie has a plethora of ghost stories and weird experiences.

She swears she's seen something resembling the grim reaper in her bedroom,

and says that when her son was a child, he regularly saw a Victorian-looking couple

coming out of his bedroom wall and asking him to go with them.

And at one point she even lived in a house that the previous family had a priest doing exorcism in,

because they had experienced some horrendously spooky activity.

She used to hear a dog spirit running around in that house,

and a packet of cigarettes was once thrown off of the table right in front of her.

These stories don't even cover half of her experiences, but she could probably make her own

podcast on just her experiences alone. She always makes me wonder if being able to experience

or being open to experiencing things like this is something that runs in families.

As a child, I remember a few weird things happening around me that I couldn't explain. Nothing major. The feeling of unease

like someone was watching me from the kitchen. Seeing things out of the corner of my eye, etc.

I just put it down to feeling spooky and an overactive imagination.
