Hi podleters, very excited to be back in your earholes. Not literally, obviously, I didn't

0:05.7

know I'd fit in your earhole. If I would, I would maybe consider contacting the Guinness

0:11.2

World Book of Records because you probably got quite big earholes. Okay, good, absolutely

0:16.4

not relevant. Anyway, this week I'm speaking to Dr Hazel Wallace, who is the founder of the

0:21.9

Food Medic. She's an author, personal trainer, and now also a registered nutritionist, which

0:27.7

is why I wanted to get out to come and talk about the difference between nutrition and medicine,

0:32.9

why it's so hard to navigate these conversations around nutrition, especially on social media,

0:38.0

and how we are impacted by food and our relationship with it. I think it's a really meaty one, and

0:43.9

I really hope you do enjoy it. Please do rate, review, and subscribe. And yes, see you

0:49.0

soon, hopefully not on your earhole, so okay, bye.

1:17.6

founder of the Food Medic, which is an educational platform aimed at bridging the gap between medicine

1:23.8

and nutrition and discussing other aspects of health. Amazing. Do you know what? That everyone says

1:28.6

this to you, but my favourite thing is when you say NHS, because you like, does anyone say that to you?

1:33.4

No, it's because I have friends. You've properly said it. I always feel like, so I can't even do it,

1:39.0

because you're at, so we have to ask and ask them that. So the reason I bought Hazel on today is

1:43.9

because you're in a really interesting position, which not a lot of people are in, where you're,

1:47.4

as you say, a medical doctor, but you also now are a qualified nutritionist. And I think as everyone

1:52.7

is wanting to get more glued up on nutrition, and as we have more access to information, it's

1:57.0

transpiring that maybe some of the information that we got set online is a bit of misinformation,
