Now I want you to remember way back to elementary and middle school

where it felt like there was this competition

about who had the most friends.

Many people nowadays have the opposite problem. We have

tons of friends on Facebook or followers on Instagram, but many of those people seem

like really strangers to us and it seems hard to believe but despite how much we are

connected in general as a society the research shows us that we're lonely than. So something's not right here.

My guess this week is Jeff Kemp. Jeff is really passionate about the idea of level five

friendships that describes a friendship that is deep, built on trust, loyalty, and

confidentiality and that really changes the way we see ourselves. As you're going to hear, this kind of friendship is something that we all need, but it can be difficult to establish and to find.

And that's what we're going to talk about in my conversation with Jeff.
