Well, when we go through hard times times I think it's very natural for us to

question where God is in the middle of our pain, especially when that kind of hard time

involves dealing with the impact of abuse and of trauma.

The Psalms are full of lamentation and grief and the Psalms are crying out constantly

for God's presence and healing and I'm so

thankful that God welcomes those cries. Well my guest today knows exactly what

that journey is like. Her name is Jennifer Michelle Greenberg and she

figured this out at a young age. She grew up in a very abusive home

environment but found healing a comfort as she learned to press into the fatherhood of God and later was able to experience

further redemption from a healthy and stable marriage.

Now you might be able to identify with Jennifer, maybe you also experienced abuse in your past,

and you wonder how a good God could allow someone to be so cruel to you.

You know, God ministers to us through people like therapists who have expertise, but he also encourages our

hearts when we hear stories of how other people have found hope and healing.

One of the things I love about Jennifer's

story that you're going to hear today is the way that God used her husband

Jason to be part of her healing. Jason also joined us for a bit during this conversation and shares some of his journey alongside of Jennifer's healing.
