here. Welcome back to the realignment. Hey, everyone. Sorry for the radio silence the past week,

especially with the start of the second Trump administration. The good and not just good,

but great personal news on my front is that Olivia, my wife, and I welcomed our first kid

into the world, so I obviously was taking some time off for parental leave.

Very psyched for all that. Being a dad has been awesome, and I'm sure it's going to influence the

content that I produce here, moving forward in so many different ways I can even imagine.

But with that said, I've obviously been behind the news, and the podcast is not going to be as

responsive to the news cycle and the podcast is not going to be as responsive to the news cycle and

events shaping this second Trump administration as I would have wished it could be, but

that's okay, plenty of great interviews coming up. So right before I went out for later

I've recorded a great conversation with Oregon Senator Ron Wyden about his new book, It Takes Hutzpah, How to Fight for

Progressive Change.

I actually was raised in Oregon, as many folks here know, so it was great to talk with the

senator I grew up with about the Senate, his career activism, policy, and the actual

overall state of the country as we move into, once

again, the second Trump administration. So huge thank you to the Foundation for American Innovation,
