While we can celebrate the Christian heritage of our nation, we must acknowledge the current momentum of our culture is pointed away from obedience to God. This change isn’t driven just by physical forces in our world, either. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the spiritual conflict taking place throughout our culture. He teaches from the Gospel of Luke to illustrate the source of resistance, dark forces, and wickedness we experience all around us, especially as we work to be obedient to God. Pastor Allen informs us about some of Satan’s tactics he uses to attempt to lead us away from God, and he shares with us two opposing responses to Jesus’ ministry found in Luke. Which side do we want to be on—rejecting Jesus, or choosing obedience to what He says?
