Oh, Cancer is really a genetic disease that it's constantly evolving and the tumor micro environment is really chaotic and complex and it's kind of like an ecosystem of cells so I have a totally different frame of reference which I think you know most in cellular immunology don't

really appreciate. My guess this week is Sean Kubli, fascinating dude.

One of the coolest things about having a podcast, and I hope one of the coolest things about listening to this podcast in particular, and podcasts to be fair and honest is that you

get to hang out with someone who's an expert in their field and you get to just sort of, you know, pick their

brains a little bit and this guy's got a lot of brain to pick. He's fascinating guys. I said he's I met him at the

Budakon retreat. He was there doing a teacher training I guess and it was after our Sex of Dawn retreat and we

hung out and one day I gave a talk to the new people who had shown up and I was talking about this genetic study

done by Klaus Vedicand in Switzerland all about women picking up information about men's immune

systems from the way they smell the sort of you know what the the content of pheromones is that's picked up subconsciously and how that relates to

dating and attraction and so on and so forth.

And this is stuff I've talked about many times in many

interviews and presentations and you know they're probably 30 people there and

I see this guy sort of in the back, this quiet guy, he kind of says, he raises his hand and he says,

well, the way you describe that, it's not 100% accurate. And I thought oh fuck here we go worst-case

scenario right and I you know if he was just gonna bust my balls a little bit or what you know if he was just going to bust my balls a little bit or what, you know, if this was an ego thing or what was going on.

But anyway, he went on and he explained that, you know, I think the way I had described it was that the women were attracted to men whose immune systems

compensated for the woman's deficiencies in her immune system and he pointed out that actually

it's that the women are attracted to men who had very sort of non homogeneous that their immune system was very different from the

women's and so it's the same concept that there was this compensatory,

complementary kind of mechanism, but he wanted to point out

that I had misphrased it a little bit.

And by the end of listening know listening to him talk I realized like oh okay this guy he's not busting my balls he's just really into accuracy and
