Did it? Dotted the eyes? We crossed the teeth. Mentally, I need to let you guys know where I'm at. I am, you know those benches that go at the end of your bed? I have that by my desk instead of my chair that I normally sit in and I'm laying.

1:32.0

I am laying down. I have pillows and a blanket. There's a microphone hovered above my head and I... that's mentally where I'm at right now during these times is I need to lie down. But today's story is a winded one.

1:51.0

Partially, that's partially why I need to be lying down. I need to be mentally in this space. That's how I rationalize this to myself. Today's story I actually started working on... I want to say towards the end of last year but definitely at the latest it was in the beginning of this year.

2:09.0

And I... there's so much behind it and I'll go through the whole spiel. But it's been requested a lot. So today we are going to be breaking down the murder of three-year-old Kaylee Anthony. And this is a sensitive topic right because it involves the death of a three-year-old.

2:27.0

But I do want to let you guys know that we're not going to be focused so much on the actual murder or the death any of that. We're going to be focused more on how Kaylee Anthony got away with the murder of her three-year-old daughter because that is what happened here.

2:43.0

I like many of you can probably remember the media frenzy surrounding this case. It was insane. Nancy Grace was across the television screen every night tearing into Kaylee Anthony or as she called her top mom.

2:57.0

And it was one of the first times that I really watched a case unfold on the news like that. And I was like, I need to know more because they started it obviously when the daughter was missing.

3:10.0

All the way through all the theories, all the way through the trials, everything. And I speak about it like you know it because I feel like most of you have probably heard of this case. If you haven't, don't worry. Obviously here to fill you in.

3:24.0

But it was just crazy like watching it happen in live time. And I followed the case pretty closely up until everyone in America's wig was snatched when the murderous mother was found not guilty.

3:39.0

And after that, I would do like a quick Google search now and again of Kaylee Anthony. But I decided it was time to really kind of dig back in, look at the aftermath and look at what in the OJ Simpson happened at that trial.

3:53.0

So let's do a quick bio. I'm going to run you through kind of like a quick synopsis of her childhood and stuff. And we'll get into all the details because this is going to be a very detailed episode.

4:05.0

We are going to be going through a direct timeline of the days leading up to the murder, what happened after, what happened at the trial. We talking about everything. So quick bio, Casey Anthony, she was one of two children born to George and Cindy Anthony.

4:21.0

She has a brother named Lee and she was born on March 19th, 1986 in Warren, Ohio, up high seas.

4:29.0

Growing up, she was described as personable, well liked by schoolmates. She seemed to have like a pretty easy time growing up as far as we know right now.

4:39.0

Now she seemed to get along with her brother, had a pretty decent relationship with her parents, George and Cindy. Definitely not the woman that you would expect to go on to be a future murderer.

4:49.0

But it really wasn't until high school that she began kind of getting into some trouble. And it wasn't even like big things like no run into with the law or anything like that just lies.

4:59.0

Casey Anthony was a liar. And one of my favorite stories is actually it took place at her high school graduation as her parents, grandparents and brother Lee sat waiting for Casey to cross the stage and get her diploma.

5:15.0

They grew concerned when the announcer skipped over her name. Well, it just so happens that Casey was a few credits short of graduating and could not muster the courage to tell her family.
