Authorities now say they have that gray backpack after finding it hidden in the brush in Central

Park. Police say that when the assailant fled from the shooting on an e-bike, he rode into Central

Park wearing this backpack, but exited without it. That critical piece of evidence now in the hands

of a crime lab for analysis and testing. Police believe the suspect likely left on a bus

headed towards Atlanta, reversing the same route he took on the way to the city.

They have video of him entering the bus depot, but not video of him exiting.

So now the FBI is assisting the NYPD with this investigation offering a $50,000 reward for

information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Police say bullets recovered from the crime scene in front of the Hilton

Hotel in Manhattan are also being tested to see if they match bullets from any prior
