mysterious drone sightings that began last month over New Jersey. And there are also reports that

drones were spotted over military bases in Virginia. Sightings first began the week before Thanksgiving

in northern New Jersey

near President-elect Trump's Bedminster Golf Club and a military base, but have since spread

across the state and northeast region to include Connecticut, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Sometimes over areas with sensitive military bases and national security facilities.

The White House and FBI claim many of the drone sightings are actually manned aircraft,

like airplanes or helicopters operating lawfully.

State and local officials have said the sightings don't pose a threat,

but that's done little to calm nerves,

as those same officials call on the federal government to share more information with

residents who insist their eyes are not lying to them.

Fox's C.B. Cotton. It's a who's who of the incoming Trump administration attending today's

Army Navy football game in Maryland. We saw House Speaker Mike Johnson. His son goes to the Naval Academy,

as well as the next Senate majority leader, John Thune. And I can tell you that Trump spent a lot

of time speaking to those two men reportedly about legislative priorities. We also saw Elon Musk.

That was a bit of a surprise, not expecting that one, as well as Senator-elected Dave McCormick.

We saw Tulsi Gabbard, which is an Army veteran and Trump's pick for DNI, as well as Pete Heggseth, another Army vet, and Trump's pick for Defense Secretary.

Fox Madison Scarpino. ABC News will pay $15 million as part of a settlement with the president-elect.

ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos had claimed on air that Trump was, quote, liable for a rape in a civil case.

The settled means both sides avoid a trial.
