Controversy over the budget deal. I'm Deborah Valentine Fox News. President Biden has signed the new government spending bill passed in Congress overnight, narrowly avoiding a government shutdown. Fox's Madeline Rivera reports from the White House. It funds the government at current levels and adds more than $100 billion in disaster aid and $10 billion in economic aid for farmers.

What it does not include is a debt limit increase, when a President-elect Trump's key asks.

The Senate passed the bill 85 to 11 shortly after midnight.

The House approved the bill earlier Friday evening 366 to 34, with all 34 news coming from GOP members.

The president signed the bill this morning after publicly staying out of the spending

fight. They wanted President-elect Trump and Republicans to own the fallout after Trump and

Elon Musk undermined an earlier bipartisan agreement.

The move led to some Democrats to sarcastically refer to Musk as President

Elon Musk criticizing his involvement. A day of morning in Germany after a driver plowed through

a crowded Christmas market killing five people and injuring hundreds. Fox is Stephanie Bennett

reports from London. The authorities say at least five people have been killed.

200 others are injured, 41 of which are considered serious injuries.

The city's mayor says they will be holding a memorial service at the local cathedral.

A suspect is in custody and is being questioned and a lot of questions for him at this point.

And the attack happened around 100 miles west of

Berlin in Magdeburg, just five days before Christmas. The market was obviously packed with people

spending their Friday night with family and friends. Witnesses say a car drove at high speed,

plowing through the crowd. Chaos and confusion then ensued. The motives under investigation.

Baseball Hall of Famer, Ricky Henderson, has died at the age of 65, according to TMZ.

Henderson was suffering from pneumonia.
