Today, I am speaking with Lawrence Krause. Many of you know Lawrence's work. He is a well-known

physicist and author. He regularly writes for the New Yorker. And he is also a famous atheist.

He was in the film The Unbelievers with our partner in crime, Richard Dawkins.

Lawrence does many different things. He runs the Origins project at Arizona State University.

He's the author of several books, and he has a new book out titled The Greatest Story Ever Told

So Far, where he tells the story of how we've come to understand the universe to the degree that we have.

And he and I spoke about many things. There are not many conversations where you can get into the

weeds of quantum mechanical experiment and then also talk about terrorism and nuclear war and

Trump and things of that sort. So we cover a lot, and I would say if you're short on time,

the last hour or so is probably the most important part. But I enjoyed all of it. Lawrence is fighting

the war of ideas on many, many fronts. And so it was a pleasure to have him on the podcast.
