suburb this evening repeating some of the themes of last night's

State of the Union address. Folks, our freedoms really are in the ballot. There's no... of last night's

Last night, the president did not name his likely opponent, but took him on today.

Donald Trump and the Magu Republic are trying to take away our freedoms.

That's not an exaggeration.

Well, guess what?

We will not let him.

And touching on the economy, the president said wages are up

and inflation is coming down and he

said he believes the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates. The Senate has

reached a deal on a series of bills that will keep the government running

avoiding a shutdown that was set to happen at midnight tonight.

Today's bipartisan agreement gives us momentum and space to finish the remaining appropriation bills

by March 22nd. Of course it's going to take both sides working

together to keep that momentum alive.

Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer says this is an important step in fully

funding the government.

Former President Trump has posted bond in the defamation case recently won by a New York

City writer.
