Deadly chopper crash at the border on Jack Callahan. Fox News a helicopter

crashes in Texas near the Mexican border killing two National Guard

members and one Border Patrol agent.

Fox is Jeff Paul has the latest from Eagle Pass, Texas.

Senator John Cornyn of Texas just putting this out on social media saying that he did

talk with the Border Patrol Chief in the Rio Grande Valley.

He then names the Border Patrol agent who was killed as Chris Luna saying, quote,

very sad, another reminder that the humanitarian and public safety crisis caused by binding administration

policies are dangerous to all.

Now this crash happened yesterday afternoon just before 3 p.m. we know the crew was conducting

a federal support mission at the border and was not related to Texas's ongoing operation

Lone Star.

The helicopter went down in the field and Laguarilla, Texas, four were on board at the time.

One soldier survived the crash but is listed in critical condition.

Armed demand broke into a boarding school in northwestern Nigeria and kidnapped 15 children

as they slept.

That happened about 48 hours after nearly 300

students were taken hostage elsewhere. Gangs have been demanding huge

ransoms for their return. Several students have been expelled from school in

California for using

artificial intelligence to create fake naked photographs of

underage schoolmates.
