The debate rages over trade tariffs. I'm Kathleen Maloney. Fox News. Fox's Kevin Uretzky has the latest.

Oklahoma Republican Senator Mark Wayne Mullin says the tariffs were long overdue and praised President Trump's actions.

This isn't a trade war. This is balancing our economy with countries that have taken advantage of us.

Mullen adding, that is especially true concerning China. China has to have access to our economy.

Over 40% of the goods that are manufactured in China are sold here inside the United States.

However, Democrats such as Delaware Senator Chris Coon say it's everyday Americans who will wind up paying the cost of the tariffs.

They're going to pay more for fruits and vegetables, gas, cars, furniture, clothing. It's going to make

America less affordable, not more affordable. Both men appeared on Fox News Sunday. Kevin Uretzky, Fox News.

At least 16 deaths are being blamed on the severe storms pummeling Middle America.

Nashville had some really bad flooding on Thursday.

Thankfully, the area was spared from the worst of the storms over the last 24 hours,

but other parts of the state were hit hard. Memphis had torrential

downpours yesterday. Floodwaters were swamping parts of interstate 40, submerging cars,

and there were several water rescues around the city. And in Kentucky, conditions are bad.

Two people have died there so far.

That includes a nine-year-old boy who officials say was washed away by floodwaters while walking to his school bus last week.

The State Department issuing a level two travel advisory to exercise increased caution in the Bahamas.

This due to crime and possibly

shark attacks. The department

warning violent crime

can occur just about anywhere in the Bahamas.
