A ceasefire. I'm Debra Valentine, Fox News. Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared a temporary ceasefire with Ukraine. Fox's Stephanie Bennett reports from London.

Russia claims that it's being introduced for humanitarian purposes. Now, during a meeting at the Kremlin,

President Putin and his military chief said they've

instructed all commanders of groups in the special military operation zone to cease combat operations.

President Putin says this Easter truce will test how serious Kiev is for a ceasefire,

and the Russian president claims Kieveev previously violated agreements regarding

bans on energy strikes more than 100 times. And Putin threatening Ukraine as well,

saying if they violate this ceasefire to be extremely attentive and vigilant and to be ready

for an immediate response in full. Now, President Zelensky is skeptical, writing on X

that before this ceasefire took effect,

Russian attack drones were detected over Ukraine.

The two sides exchanged hundreds of prisoners prior to today's ceasefire, which ends at midnight Easter Sunday.

The U.S. and Iran plan additional nuclear talks following today's meeting in Rome over Tehran's nuclear program.

A spokesperson from Amman's foreign ministry says the next phase of discussions aimed to seal

a fair, enduring and binding deal, which will ensure Iran completely free of nuclear weapons

and sanctions and maintaining its ability to develop peaceful nuclear energy. But the last part

of that statement would appear to

contradict the position shared by some Trump administration officials, including U.S. Special Envoy,

Steve Whitkoff, who's leading these talks for the U.S. Whitkoff is calling for the full dismantlement

of Iran's nuclear enrichment and weaponization program. President Trump has threatened the possibility

of strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities
